About Me

I believe anything is possible and with the correct advice and guidance, together your special day will be exactly as it says on the tin. Where possible I will try to keep costs down to a minimum by having zoom and meetings via teams, but love to meet my clients in person, especially in the beginning stages. I always provide a certificate which can be signed to offer a great photo opportunity and all printed on high quality paper. Am always happy to provide extra copies at no further cost and also printed copies of scripts if desired.

I have a full DBS and have worked for over 25 years in education and am now Safeguarding and Learning Support manager in a training agency. I make jewellery and as an added gesture, I like to present hand made wine glass charms to the adult bridesmaids and have been commissioned to make affordable wedding favours. Nothing is a bother and nothing is not achievable.

Can we meet our celebrant?

Absolutely! We encourage an initial consultation, either in person or virtually, to get to know each other, discuss your vision, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Once you’ve enquired online our celebrants will reach out to discuss your needs & arrange a call.

Are celebrant-led weddings legally binding in the UK?

In Scotland, Yes. In the rest of the UK, no, although it is all going through the courts at the moment, so this is likely to change in the near future. For now, -led wedding ceremonies aren’t legally binding in England, Wales & Northern Ireland, therefore most couples who opt for a celebrant tend to go to their local registry office a couple of days before their wedding, to do the legal paperwork, and then they’re free to have their celebrant wedding celebration wherever they want.

What is the typical process leading up to the ceremony?

After booking, your celebrant will be in touch to arrange an initial consultation to discuss your ceremony. Following this, you’ll have other meetings to discuss draft scripts, and finalise the ceremony outline. They’ll also coordinate logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the big day.

Will my celebrant be willing to travel for my ceremony?

Yes, our celebrants are available for ceremonies in various locations, travel arrangements can be discussed during the initial consultation, and additional fees may apply for destinations outside of their standard service area.

How long does a typical ceremony last?

Ceremonies vary in length depending on your preferences. On average, ceremonies range from 20 to 40 minutes, but all of our celebrants are flexible and can adjust based on your desired duration. Please note if you require a ceremony over 40 minutes there may be an additional cost.

What happens in case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies?

We understand that unexpected situations can arise and we will do our utmost to ensure a smooth and successful ceremony for you, we do our best to be as flexible as possible when it comes to postponing dates to do our best to ensure you don’t incur additional charges, however, to respect our celebrant’s time all deposits are non-refundable.

Can we include religious or cultural elements in our ceremony?

Absolutely. All of our celebrants respect and embrace diverse cultural and religious traditions. Your chosen celebrant will work with you to seamlessly integrate any elements that hold significance for you and your partner.
