About Me

My name is Nicola Kelleher and I am an award winning, fully qualified, independent celebrant, based in Central London. My parents are Irish and I am often called upon to conduct Irish ceremonies as they are a little different but I have conducted weddings from all faiths, mixed faith ceremonies and non religious weddings. Whatever your beliefs and wherever you are from, I aim to make your ceremony, perfect and I work closely with couples and families to ensure that they have everything they wish to include in a wedding, baby naming ceremony or funeral. I am a professional television presenter and actress as well as a published author. I have worked in the wedding industry for over six years and I thrive on creating and conducting beautiful, elegant, and fully customisable ceremonies for everyone.

I have conducted wedding ceremonies in some of the most exclusive venues in London and can guide you through the process of both the legal obligations and the celebrant led ceremony, if required. Whatever ceremony or are hoping to create, I will work with you to create a beautiful, elegant ceremony that is full of meaning, and a day to treasure forever. Can we meet our celebrant?

Absolutely! We encourage an initial consultation, either in person or virtually, to get to know each other, discuss your vision, and address any questions or concerns you may have. Once you’ve enquired online our celebrants will reach out to discuss your needs & arrange a call.

Are celebrant-led weddings legally binding in the UK?

In Scotland, Yes. In the rest of the UK, no, although it is all going through the courts at the moment, so this is likely to change in the near future. For now, -led wedding ceremonies aren’t legally binding in England, Wales & Northern Ireland, therefore most couples who opt for a celebrant tend to go to their local registry office a couple of days before their wedding, to do the legal paperwork, and then they’re free to have their celebrant wedding celebration wherever they want.

What is the typical process leading up to the ceremony?

After booking, your celebrant will be in touch to arrange an initial consultation to discuss your ceremony. Following this, you’ll have other meetings to discuss draft scripts, and finalise the ceremony outline. They’ll also coordinate logistics, ensuring everything runs smoothly on the big day.

Will my celebrant be willing to travel for my ceremony?

Yes, our celebrants are available for ceremonies in various locations, travel arrangements can be discussed during the initial consultation, and additional fees may apply for destinations outside of their standard service area.

How long does a typical ceremony last?

Ceremonies vary in length depending on your preferences. On average, ceremonies range from 20 to 40 minutes, but all of our celebrants are flexible and can adjust based on your desired duration. Please note if you require a ceremony over 40 minutes there may be an additional cost.

What happens in case of unforeseen circumstances or emergencies?

We understand that unexpected situations can arise and we will do our utmost to ensure a smooth and successful ceremony for you, we do our best to be as flexible as possible when it comes to postponing dates to do our best to ensure you don’t incur additional charges, however, to respect our celebrant’s time all deposits are non-refundable.

Can we include religious or cultural elements in our ceremony?

Absolutely. All of our celebrants respect and embrace diverse cultural and religious traditions. Your chosen celebrant will work with you to seamlessly integrate any elements that hold significance for you and your partner.
